If you're reading this, chances are you've recently purchased a beeswax wrap or two (or maybe even a whole set!) and you're wondering how to best take care of them so they last as long as possible.

And if you haven't purchased your first set yet, check out our article 👉 The Ultimate Guide to Beeswax Wraps.

Here are some tips on how to take care of your wraps so you can use them again and again.

Washing Your Wraps

You can wash your beeswax wraps in cold water with mild soap - like castile soap or dish soap.

Avoid using hot water as it will cause the wax to soften and potentially deform your wrap.

To wash, simply wet your wrap with cold water and add a drop or two of soap, then rub the wrap together to create a lather.

Once the wrap is lathered, rinse it off with cold water and lay it out to dry.

Storing Your Wraps

We recommend storing your beeswax wraps in a cool, dark place - somewhere like a drawer or cabinet is perfect.

If you live in a warm climate, consider storing them in the fridge during summer months as this will help prevent the wax from melting.

When you're not using your beeswax wraps, be sure to keep them away from any sources of heat - this includes sunlight, hot water, and ovens/stovetops.

Heat will cause the wax to soften and may damage your wraps.

We hope these tips help you get the most out of your beeswax wraps!

Taking care of them is easy once you know what to do.
